Half Day Package (min 12 players)

Includes EITHER Bacon Sandwich & Coffee OR Chef’s Homemade Soup of the Day & fresh Sandwiches, 18 holes of golf and a choice of a three course meal as detailed below.

Starters

Fresh Greenland Prawns on a fine leaf salad or Home-made Roast Tomato Soup or Home-made Chicken Liver Pâté, Cumberland sauce with hot toast.

Main Course

Pan-fried Yorkshire Gammon, eggs, chips and minted peas or Steak and Ale Pie with suet crust, rich onion gravy, chips and buttered peas or English Pork Loin Steak with green peppers and brandy sauce, on a bed of sauté potatoes, stir-fried beans and carrots

Dessert

Cold Lemon Soufflé with Raspberry Coulis or Traditional Apple Crumble with English Custard or Vanilla pod Ice Cream with Hot Chocolate Sauce

DRESS CODE

Shipley Golf Club operates a dress code for both the course and the Clubhouse, as follows:

CLUBHOUSE

Smart, casual attire is permitted in the Clubhouse at all times, including golfwear, provided it is not soiled. Gentlemen are requested to wear jacket and tie after 7.00pm in the Dining Room. Jeans, round necked T-shirts and trainers are not permitted.

COURSE

Gentlemen

Shirts must have collar and sleeves, although recognised golf shirts with crew neck/mandarin collar are acceptable. Shirts must be tucked into trousers. Tailored golf shorts or long trousers, plus twos and plus fours are acceptable. Trousers must not be tucked into socks. Socks worn with shorts must be white.

Not Allowed:

Denim

Collarless or rugby/football shirts, cargo shorts or trousers, 3/4 length trousers, beach shorts, tracksuits or jogging suits.

Trainers

Ankle or trainer socks

Caps worn the wrong way round

Ladies

Shirts with collars, golf skirts/skorts, cropped or full length trousers, and tailored shorts

Not Allowed:

Denim
